To help you better understand the subscription process, and to allay any fears you may have about purchasing Lovatts magazines or merchandise online, we have provided answers below to some common questions:

What is a subscription?


A subscription is a service we provide which sends you the latest issues of your favourite Lovatts magazines before they appear on the shelves. You just choose which package/s suit you and then we’ll send them to your door.

Why should I subscribe?

  • You save money off the RRP (cover price);
  • Free postage and handling;
  • You receive the magazines before they are available for sale;
  • You are guaranteed to receive every issue over the period of time that your subscription is valid – no more missing out in the shops.

Is it safe to use my credit card online?


Yes. Lovatts provides you with full 128-bit SSL browser encryption. This means that all credit card information is fully secured at all times. However, if you still feel unsure about using your credit card online, please email us the subscription you’re after and we’ll send you a subscription form to print and return by mail.

Why do I save money for subscribing online?


Subscribe or renew your subscription online as we’ll happily pass on to you savings we make in reduced administration time.

What back issues can I purchase?


Lovatts has a healthy stock of old issues available for sale. Simply contact us with what you are after and we’ll see what we can find. Prices are generally 20% off RRP plus postage and handling.

How can I pay for my subscription?

We accept:

  • Visa & Mastercard credit card payments (online or via a print form);
  • Cheque or money order (print orders only);
  • We are currently setting up our system to accept direct debit payments and are hoping to have it ready to go by early 2008.

How will Lovatts know which issue to send first?


As a general rule, we would always start each new subscription with the next magazine to go on sale as you may have already purchased the current issue – unless of course you specifically request otherwise.

Where are the magazines sent from?


To avoid any mailing mix-ups, we personally send all our subscription copies out from our office, as we have found no one can do it quite as accurately as us.

What happens if my magazines don’t turn up when they’re meant to?


Very rarely your magazine may go missing in the post on its way to you. If you think this may have happened, please don’t hesitate to give our subscriptions department a call on our free call number (Australia: 1800 254 199, New Zealand: 0800 254 177) or email us and we’ll fix the problem immediately.

What if I want to cancel my subscription?


Please call Lovatts on 0800 254 177or complete our subscriptions enquiry form (see below) to find out if there is any amount to be refunded. Refunds are made via either cheque or credit card reimbursement.

How will I know if I’m a winner in the bi-monthly $600 subscriber draw?


Winners will be notified by mail, published in alternating issues of BIG magazine and will appear here on our website.

How do I change my address?


Simply fill out the online form provided below. Alternatively, phone us toll free on 0800 254 177or send a letter with your details to Lovatts Publications, PO BOX 999 GOSFORD, NSW, Australia 2250.
